Winifred Publishing

Winifred Publishing is an independent publisher based in New York City with focus on illustrated, high quality hard cover books within food, photography, art and culture. Winifred Publishing is founded by Charlie Bennet, a Swedish born photographer based in New York since 2011.

The name Winifred Publishing comes from Charlie's dog Winifred that he adopted early in 2020. Winifred or "Winnie" was the main reason to why Charlie started to explore Manhattan during the great COVID-19 shutdown in the spring of 2020 and started photographing the ghostly city, photos which eventually would become the start of Winifred Publishing's first book
